Our Community Forum may store the posts, images, comments, replies, and reactions you share, along with the account and timing information associated with them. Please do not post patient information, medical records, protected health information, passwords, or financial account details through the Community Forum. Our Chat feature may collect sender and recipient information, group membership, message content, attachments, and delivery or read status for one-to-one and group conversations.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts, administer memberships, process event registrations and donations, administer scholarships, operate the Community Forum and Chat features, send newsletters and organizational communications, respond to inquiries, maintain security, prevent fraud, improve our services, and comply with applicable laws.

Community Forum and Chat

Content you publish through the Community Forum may be visible to other authorized community members, and you are responsible for ensuring it does not violate anyone's privacy or rights. Through Chat, you may send messages, create or manage groups, and pin, mute, or delete conversations; however, deleting a conversation may not immediately remove every copy from backups, security logs, or other participants' devices.

Information Sharing

We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data. IDA DOES NOT SELL, RENT, OR TRADE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES FOR THEIR MARKETING PURPOSES. This commitment applies globally, including as required under the CCPA/CPRA "Do Not Sell or Share" provisions. We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, subject to strict data processing agreements. These include: cloud hosting providers, payment processors, identity verification services, analytics providers, customer support tools, and cybersecurity services.
